Our Story

From a home salon to
East 7th Street

Bloom Salon was established by Melissa Napolilli on founding principles of creating a salon that helps women grow to their full potential. Melissa, along with all the Bloom stylists, feel their purpose in life is helping women feel their most beautiful inside and out. Bloom Salon provides hair extension services using the most up-to-date techniques to help keep the integrity of their clients' natural hair.

Bloom Salon specializes in hand tied hair extensions using the most luxurious, quality products.

By continuously investing in our education, using Davines hair products and practicing the most innovative extension application techniques, we vow to provide you the best experience possible — as well as give your hair the nourishment it needs to naturally grow.

We strive to create a fun and energetic environment where you can let loose and be yourself without judgement.

By the age of 20, Melissa Napolilli knew she had a knack for style. Working her way up the ranks of local hair studios and building a cult following of clientele seemed to come easy to her. When ambition and demand crossed paths, “Mel” answered by furthering her education in high-end hair extensions and opening a salon in her own home before growing into Bloom Salon ATX.

What sets Melissa apart is her constant drive to further her education and study upcoming trends. Her passion for making women feel confident is what drives her day-to-day. It's always quoted, “if you love what you do, it's not a job!” — Melissa is living proof.

Riley was born and raised in small-town Iowa. At the age of 16 she fell in love with the idea of doing hair, and she's passionate about this industry because it is so unique and ever-changing.

In December 2021 she graduated from PCI Academy — the #1 school in Iowa — and she is now an IBE certified stylist.

Though we would love to have Riley with us every day, she lives in Iowa and visits Austin every 6 weeks, returning to her Salon home. If you are ever lucky enough to time it right, she would love to have you in her chair.

Drea is a hairstylist and extension specialist who loves helping her clients feel confident, beautiful and completely themselves. She has a passion for creating natural-looking transformations with extensions, adding the perfect amount of length, volume, and movement to fit each client's lifestyle. She also loves all things color, whether it's soft, lived-in refresh or a complete transformation. Her goal is always to create hair that's beautiful, healthy, and easy to love every day.

Before pursuing her career behind the chair, Drea earned a biology degree from the University of Texas. Her background gives her a unique appreciation for the science behind healthy hair, allowing her to combine technical knowledge with creativity.

When she's not in the salon, you'll usually find her exploring a local farmers market, taking a yoga class, or relaxing at home with her cat and dog. Whether you're new to extensions or have been wearing them for years, Drea is dedicated to creating a personaized experience and helping you achieve hair you'll feel amazing in.

She is passionate about helping clients enhance their beauty while boosting their confidence, making every appointment a relaxing self-care experience. Whether you're chatting about life, laughing through your appointment, or creating your dream hair, her goal is to make you feel comfortable from the moment you sit in her chair to the moment you're walking out with your new hair. With a blend of creativity and artistry, she brings a thoughtful touch to every service.

Outside of the salon, she loves spending time with family and friends, lake days, and focusing on personal growth. She can't wait to meet you and help you achieve your hair goals!

Ever since she was little, Anna has loved how a great haircut or color can completely transform someone's confidence. To her, hair is so much more than just style; it's a form of self-expression. Her goal is to help every client feel seen, confident, and like the best version of themselves.

Anna specializes in low-maintenance, dimensional color that fits your lifestyle. She wants every appointment to feel like a place where clients can relax, feel heard, and know they are in a judgement-free space. Building genuine relationships with her clients is one of her favorite parts of what she does, while also creating hair that leaves you feeling confident long after you leave her chair.

When she's not behind the chair, you'll usually find Anna online shopping, taking a workout class, trying new restaurants, sipping on way too much coffee, or surfing on the lake. She can't wait to welcome you into her chair and help bring your hair goals to life.

Caroline graduated from Baldwin Beauty School in Austin, TX. Where she turned her lifelong passion for hairstyling into a career. Since she was a little girl, she has dreamed of helping others feel confident through beautiful hair. She is dedicated to creating customized looks that bring each client's vision to life while ensuring every appointment is relaxing and enjoyable.

Origionally from Houston, Caroline has called Austin home for the past four years. Outside the salon, she enjoys traveling, discovering new restaurants, and finding inspiration through new experiences.
